Why Cognize eCommerce B2B agency?

We specialize in digitizing B2B sales for medium-sized and large companies – manufacturers and distributors. Our offering is distinguished by three substantive pillars:

A consultant who cares about the quality of your project

Each project is led by an experienced consultant – a former e-commerce manager from the B2B industry. This ensures that the implementation is led by someone who understands the day-to-day operations, challenges, and needs of your company.

“Flexible Accelerators” that reduce implementation costs and time

When implementing systems, we use ready-made "accelerators." These are systems and modules we've developed ourselves, based on open technologies. They reduce costs and shorten implementation time while remaining fully configurable to your unique needs.

Narrow specialization = we have already completed a project similar to your needs

Over 100 completed projects have allowed us to understand the specifics of companies operating in the B2B (often combined with B2C) sector. As a result, we have reference implementations and customer reviews for 92% of our inquiries.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about D2C eCommerce

Will entering direct sales harm relationships with distributors and brick-and-mortar stores?

The system can be designed so that channels complement each other, not compete. Large, unusual, or local orders can be consciously directed to the current channel (representative, subcontractor, brick-and-mortar store), and the D2C platform captures only the portion of sales that would not otherwise reach the offline sales network. This is a business decision regarding thresholds and rules, not a technological limitation.

Is it possible to sell directly to customers without expanding the service department?

The order doesn't have to go straight to production or the warehouse. The automated order is first approved by a manager, who can specify further details (e.g., discount, shipping method) before processing begins—just as some of our clients currently do with non-standard orders. Only after these rules are established does full automation for standard orders kick in.

Can a B2C customer and a B2B customer (e.g. wholesaler, installer) shop at the same store?

Yes, this is a common scenario. The same store displays different prices and terms depending on who is logged in—a retail customer pays the list price, while a verified B2B customer has their own terms and conditions and trade credit limit. B2B customer registration may require additional verification on your end before they can access wholesale terms and conditions.

Does selling online make sense if our products require configuration before purchase (e.g. variants, dimensions, additional options)?

Yes, the configuration can be transferred to the store, instead of being arranged solely by phone or email with a salesperson. Customers can select product parameters on the website, and checkout can also include additional services (e.g., financing or shipping) if they are part of the purchasing decision. The scope of the configurator depends on the complexity of your catalog's variants.
