Privacy Policy

§ 1. [General provisions]

This policy sets out the rules for handling personal data and other data of Users in connection with the operation of the Website.

§ 2. [Definitions]

The terms used in the regulations mean:
a. Administrator – KMK sp. z o. o. group with its registered office in Katowice (40-067), ul. Mikołowska 15a/2, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register maintained by the District Court Katowice-Wschód in Katowice, 8th Commercial Division of the National Court Register under the KRS number: 0000461672, Tax Identification Number (NIP): 6312649340.
b. Website – website available at https://www.cognize.pl.
c. User – a natural person who visits the Website
or contacts the Administrator via the contact form in order to conclude a contract
or obtaining information about the services offered.

§ 3. [Personal data protection]

1. The Administrator is the controller of personal data within the meaning of Article 4(7) of the GDPR in relation to data collected via the Website.
The user has the right to access and rectify data.
2. The user has the right to request the deletion, restriction of processing, or transfer of data. They may also object to profiling.
3. The User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office in the event of a suspected violation of the law.
4. In the event of a change in data, the User shall inform the Administrator by sending a message to kontakt@cognize.pl.
5. Personal data are not transferred to recipients, unless such an obligation results from the law or they are processed by entities acting on behalf of the Controller.

§ 4. [Inquiries]

1. If you send a query via a form or e-mail, the Administrator processes the personal data provided in that query.
2. The data is processed for the purpose of correspondence and contact with the User.
3. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interest of the Controller).
4. Data are stored for a period of 10 years from the receipt of the inquiry or the completion of the case.

§ 5. [Security of personal data]

1. Data is processed on appropriately secured servers, to which only authorized persons have access.
2.The Administrator applies all required legal and technical safeguards.
3. Data remains confidential within the limits set by policy and law.

§ 6. [Cookie Policy]

1. The Administrator uses cookies to customize the Website and for statistical purposes.
2. The data in the server logs is used only to administer the Website.
3. IP addresses, query time, device type, communication errors, referrer, and browser information may be collected.
4. Logs are stored for a maximum of 1 year. They can be used to generate aggregate statistics.
5. The website uses, among others: session cookies, Google Analytics, Google Advertising Domain, Facebook cookies.
6. External websites may also use their own cookies.

1. The User may contact the Administrator at any time to obtain information about data processing.
2. In matters not regulated, the provisions of generally applicable law shall apply.
